Bushes Welcomed New Member to Family 2 Days After Barbara’s Death

Lauren Bush Lauren treasured her not only as a former first lady but also as her grandma. The relationship between a grandmother and granddaughter is special in many ways.
Lauren shared this special connection with Barbara Bush growing up. She wrote an Instagram post in honor of her grandma on April 18 where she described Bush as an “amazing woman.”
Just two days after Barbara’s death, Lauren and the rest of the Bush family welcomed a new member of the family.
Lauren and her husband, David, welcomed their second baby to the world on April 19 at 5:33 a.m. Max Walker Lauren was born weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces.
“Maria and I will always be grateful for being able to say a proper goodbye to our wonderful mother. And then two days later, yesterday morning, two weeks before her due date, Lauren Bush Lauren gave birth to a beautiful 7 lb 8 oz baby boy Max Walker Lauren,” he wrote on Facebook.
