A new Lifetime documentary about Wendy Williams’ turbulent recent history will offer an unvarnished, uncensored look at her health and financial problems.
The first glimpse of the documentary “Where is Wendy Williams?” which will play over two nights later this month, was unveiled by Lifetime on Friday. It will debut on Feb. 24th and 25th at 8 p.m.
Williams appears to be suffering from memory loss, drunk, clumsy, and at times unable to stand in the trailer that was unveiled last week, despite her insistence to friends and family that she is fine.
In addition, her sister Wanda Williams, her son Kevin Hunter Jr., and other family members are interviewed for the documentary as they come together to support Wendy.
Kevin accuses the court-appointed guardian of failing to adequately protect the former talk show host. Wanda agrees, referring to the system as “broken.”
Wells Fargo claimed in February 2022 that Wendy needed guardianship because of her alleged “undue influence and financial exploitation” and that she was of “unsound mind.” Wendy has insisted that her money be returned and has angrily refuted these allegations.
“I have no money and I’m gonna tell you something. If this can happen to me, it can happen to you,” Williams says during an emotional interview while breaking down in tears.
