Vanessa Bryant shares never-before-seen pictures in honor of her late husband, Kobe Bryant on what would have been his 45th birthday.
Vanessa took to Instagram today, Aug. 23, with cherished words for the former NBA legend.
Kobe was killed with their second-oldest daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash in Jan. 2020.
On Bryant’s special birth-day, Vanessa posted a sweet message and photos on her Instagram account.
“Happy birthday, baby. I love you always and forever,” she wrote.

In March 2021, Vanessa told PEOPLE that her daughters help her “smile through the pain” and give her strength amid heartbreak and grief.
“This pain is unimaginable [but] you just have to get up and push forward. Lying in bed crying isn’t going to change the fact that my family will never be the same again. But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that’s what I do,” she said.
