
President Donald Trump and Melania have tested positive for the coronavirus, a development that came hours after he confirmed one of his longest-serving aides with whom he had recently traveled also received a positive test result.
“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19,” Trump tweeted early Friday morning. “We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”

“The president’s physician said in a memo that Trump and the first lady, who is 50, “are both well at this time” and “plan to remain at home within the White House during their convalescence.
