President Trump and Melania starts ‘quarantine process’ after aide Hope Hicks tests positive for coronavirus

President Trump said Thursday he will go into quarantine after Hope Hicks, one of his closest allies, tested positive for coronavirus.

“Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid 19. Terrible!” the president tweeted late Thursday. “The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!“

Hicks, a counselor to the president, had traveled with Trump on Tuesday for his debate with Democratic challenger Joe Biden in Cleveland. She was seen traveling on Air Force One without a mask. She also traveled with the president during his rally in Minnesota on Wednesday.

Trump said during a Thursday night interview with Fox News‘ Sean Hannity that he and first lady Melania Trump had been tested for the virus and were waiting for the results. —Politico on Yahoo News
