This week, the Yellowstone actor used social media to introduce his fans to the newest member of his family—a cute puppy who has already won his heart.
The priceless images uploaded on Instagram on Thursday, February 1, show Costner, 69, getting to know his new four-legged buddy, who looks to be a white Labrador Retriever.
“Newest addition to the family. I’m already in love with this special guy,” Costner captioned his post.

Although he withheld the puppy’s name, he did post pictures of his new companion adjusting to his new home.
Costner has several pets and is a longtime enthusiast of white labs. To help an animal charity, he took his dog Daisy with him in 2010 when they traveled from Colorado to Canada on a private “dog rescue” jet.
Over the past year, Costner’s family experienced significant upheaval following his divorce from Christine Baumgartner, his wife of over twenty years.
Baumgartner claimed irreconcilable differences as the cause of their split when he
filed for divorce in May.
The couple, who share Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13, finalized their divorce in September following a heated legal battle.
Baumgartner has moved on, she’s been connected to businessman Josh Connor, who used to be her and Costner’s neighbor. But according to court documents, Costner’s ex-wife denied dating Connor, and when asked lately about Baumgartner’s romantic history, the actor said nothing.
