RNC presidential nominee Donald Trump shares a video featuring a hog-tied President Joe Biden on a passing truck tailgate.
The decal depicts a doctored image of the current president, tied up with a gag, akin to a kidnapped figure being hauled off by a truck carrying pro-Trump and anti-Biden messages.
The video was possibly made as Trump’s motorcade approached Diller’s wake, and features a truck with a Biden decal in the video.
Trump posted the caption: “3/28/24 | LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK…”
The Biden campaign swiftly condemns a video that suggests physical harm to the current Democratic president.
“This image from Donald Trump is the type of crap you post when you’re calling for a bloodbath or when you tell the Proud Boys to ‘stand back and stand by,’” Michael Tyler, the campaign’s communication director reported to The Washington Post. “Trump is regularly inciting political violence and it’s time people take him seriously just ask the Capitol police officers who were attacked protecting our democracy on January 6.”
Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung reported Friday night: “That picture was on the back of a pickup truck that was traveling down the highway. Democrats and crazed lunatics have not only called for despicable violence against President Trump and his family, they are actually weaponizing the justice system against him.”
