Women’s March Leader Linda Sarsour Arrested at Paul Ryan’s Office

The protesters were allegedly arrested for civil disobedience.

Activist Linda Sarsour was arrested Monday following a protest outside the office of House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.).

According to Al Jazeera, Sarsour and other Muslim-American activists stood outside of Ryan’s office demanding that he hear their concerns regarding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Sarsour is no stranger to controversy. She has been an outspoken activist for American Muslims and was also a co-chair for the 2016 Women’s March.

Sarsour also has a long history of criticizing Israel in ways that cross the line into anti-Semitism and terrorist sympathizing.

She supports the discriminatory and terror-tied BDS Movement and has claimed that “nothing is creepier” than Zionism.

She called for solidarity with Muhammad Allan, a member of the terrorist group Palestinian Islamic Jihad who has a history of recruiting suicide bombers.

After her hypocrisy towards Woman’s issue’s was exposed, she defended herself by describing attacks on her as fascist, claiming “Fascism is here” and that “[w]e cannot allow them to criminalize our leaders and movements using baseless claims… Remember, we are and can be the true #NeverAgain generation.”

Sarsour is seen as a rising star in leftist circles and the Democratic Party. The left needs to take the blinders off and take a long, hard look at the people they’re propping up as role models. (Credit)
