Tim McGraw stopped singing in midstream to confront a fan in the audience who appeared to be heckling McGraw after the singer missed a few lyrics. “Hold on, stop,” he says. “You got a problem with me?”
McGraw acted like he wanted to hop another barrier separating fans and stage. Security arrives to help de-escalate, with someone putting a hand on McGraw’s chest to hold him back. Eventually, he walks along a path out, around, and up to the stage, where he resumes singing “Where the Green Grass Grows.”
This event happened during a tour stop in Reno Nevada on October 9th.

TMZ first shared a video and details of the incident, adding a video that shows McGraw struggling with the lyrics to “Just to See You Smile.”
Besides performing in concert, McGraw had been busy filming Paramount+’s Yellowstone prequel, 1883. According to TMZ, he told the audience at the Reno show that he’d been shooting for 48 hours straight before his performance and to forgive him if he missed a lyric or two.
