The Wheel of Fortune co-host, Vanna White, who joined the show in 1982 is negotiating her salary deal for the syndicated show and fighting to make every penny she can. Sony reportedly doesn’t want to pay the amount White is demanding.

TMZ reports that Sajak, 76, makes just upward of $400,000 per episode for the celebrity competition. At the same time, White settled for $100,000 per episode in her new deal, but that’s only for the celebrity competition.
White’s salary, according to TMZ is $3 million a year, and she hasn’t received a single pay increase for the last 18 years. Since 2005, White has received only bonuses, not raises, according to Puck News.
Reports surfaced that White’s lawyer asked Sony Pictures Television for 50 percent of Sajak’s salary, the source says that is inaccurate.
“50 percent of Pat’s salary is so outrageous that no one in their right mind could say that it’s fair,” says the source. “The negotiation is asking for much more than 50 percent of his salary. It’s asking for the same pay — if not more.”
Sajak reportedly makes about $15 million a year five times the amount of his counterpart. White’s salary is reportedly $3 million per year.
One issue with the negotiations, TMZ reported, is that Sony Pictures now believes that they overpaid Sajak and don’t want to use his large salary for comparability, which has not made White’s team happy.
“It’s gonna get ugly if they [Sony] don’t get more serious,” a source close to White told the outlet. Per the New York Post.
