Tori Spelling has an emotional moment on the first episode of her podcast, ‘misSPELLING‘.

The episode began with Spelling, who filed for divorce from Dean McDermott on March 29, acknowledging that she had not yet informed McDermott.

“I have to call him right now. He’s at work. This sucks,” Spelling said.

McDermott announced his breakup with Spelling in an Instagram post that has since been removed in June 2023.

“It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways and start a new journey of our own,” he wrote. “We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time.”

The couple married in 2006 and share 5 kids, Beau, 7, Finn, 11, Hattie, 12, Stella, 15, and Liam, 17.

“I noticed a shift in our relationship,” she recalled. “Literally the day I found out I was pregnant.”

Spelling continues, “We didn’t get pregnant right away and my dad passed in June, and then days later, the beginning of July, I found out I was pregnant.”

“Our relationship definitely changed to the point where I felt like I was just in this alone with the kids,” Spelling said. “And it was a lot of responsibility while also rebuilding a career, which I did. We became a family brand.” “Meanwhile, behind the scenes it was all falling apart”

McDermott has struggled with alcohol and drug abuse for nearly three decades, he opened up to Daily Mail about rehab.

“All Tori’s ever done to this day is want me to be happy and healthy and I inflicted a lot of damage and pain on that woman,” he told the outlet.

During the first episode of her podcast she admitted that she feels alone. “I’ve never felt more alone. In a room full of friends doing a podcast, I’ve never felt more alone in 15 years,” she said.

“I don’t feel worth loving,” Spelling said. “That’s the truth — And that’s something that’s just in you, it’s not something I wanted or created. That starts when you’re young.”

In the divorce filing, Spelling indicates that June 17, 2023, is their date of separation. Spelling has asked the court to stop McDermott from requesting McDermott pay her child support.

Spelling is asking for sole physical custody and joint custody of the couple’s five children.
