In a thrilling game that saw Swift provide her best sideline hype, her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl.
The game went into overtime with the scores tied at 19, but the Chiefs scored the game-winning touchdown in the last seconds to make the final score 25–22.
“I’m on top of the world right now,” Kelce told reporters after the 25-22 victory. “It’s a good feeling.”
Swift stood beside Kelce’s mother moments ago, grinning and yelling “Chiefs nation!” and “Viva Las Vegas” in unison as he raised the Lombardi Trophy. Her eyes were moist with tears.

Swift flew in from Japan, where she had spent the previous day performing on her Eras Tour, and watched Chiefs tight end Kelce and his colleagues win back-to-back Super Bowls. Having won, Kelce now has three Super Bowl rings.
Swift left the VIP box where she had watched the game to embrace Kelce on the packed field after the Chiefs pulled off an 11th-hour victory.
“Just when you think things couldn’t get any better,” Kelce said. “Being on the mountain top with my brother was something special that I’ll never forget for the rest of my life. It brings me to tears even thinking about that moment … but what we had to endure with this team.
“To see the guys rise to the occasion and put stats aside … that’s something special.”
For the Chiefs, Kelce had a game-high nine receptions for 93 yards. For the third time in the previous five years, he will enter the off-season victorious.
Swift’s Eras Tour appearances will continue. Her next Melbourne event is set for this Friday.
