Idaho Jurors on Friday found Lori Vallow Daybell guilty of murdering her two children, 16-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua Jaxon “JJ” Vallow, and conspiring to murder her husband’s former wife, Tammy Daybell, in 2019.
A seven-man and five-woman Idaho jury rendered their verdict after deliberating for seven hours following a five-week trial.
Vallow Daybell wore a simple black dress and showed no expression as the verdict was read.
Watch:
Vallow Daybell’s fifth husband, Chad Daybell, faces the same charges, but his trial is still months away.
Prosecutors say the two worked with Vallow Daybell’s brother, Alex Cox, to commit the crimes. Cox died in December 2019 and was never charged.
Joshua and Tylee vanished in September 2019. Their disappearance sparked a monthslong search that ended in June 2020 when police found their remains on a property belonging to Vallow’s fifth and current husband, Chad Daybell.
