The 22-year-old celebrity on TikTok, who documented her uncommon cancer diagnosis on the internet, passed away.



Leah Smith, a resident of Woolton, Merseyside, passed away on Monday due to Ewing’s Sarcoma, a condition that typically affects youth.

Over 500,000 individuals tracked Ms. Smith’s journey on TikTok, where she shared daily updates on her illness.

Her partner shared the news on her TikTok profile, and many of her followers have sent their sympathies.

“I’m sad to say that she passed away today around half-eleven this morning,” Andrew said in the post. “I just want to say thank you to everyone. All your comments did help. Like, she did actually read all of them.”

“Anyone who said anything nice ever, it means more than you realize,” Andrew added. “We’ll all miss Leah, but we’ll make sure that we never forget her.”

Her boyfriend revealed that while Ms. Smith was receiving treatment, she read every message left by supporters.

“Anyone who said anything nice ever, it means more than you realise,” he stated.

Liam, her brother added a remark to the video saying, “I want to thank everyone for everything they have done for Leah and this family.”



“We are are all so truly heartbroken without Leah,” wrote her mother Vikki Smith in another TikTok post. “We will never forget her.”

“Leah was such a beautiful person inside and out! She will never be forgotten! Rest in peace,” one person wrote.

“Been a silent follower for years wow I’m so sorry, rest in paradise beautiful I hope you’re finally at peace.” another wrote.

“Leah Smith, you were amazing and so strong,” remarked one TikTok follower.



Her family updated TikTok on March 25 with a video:
