Kevin Costner’s estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, has been ordered to vacate the California home they shared, according to TMZ.
Baumgartner’s attorney filed an extension with the court to give Christine more time to move. The judge did not go for that and ruled she had to vacate by July 31.
The judge’s ruling upheld the prenuptial agreement the couple agreed upon. Costner’s first wife, Cindy Silva, received $80 million in their divorce. Costner was sure to have an ironclad agreement going into the marriage with Christine.
Baumgartner already plans to contest the validity of the prenuptial agreement, according to reports, they have a court date this November. Also being reported, if the court rules in favor of Costner again for that element of their divorce, she will have to return to the $1.5 million he agreed to give her in the prenuptial arrangement.
Baumgartner has reportedly refused the $1.5 million for now as she contests the prenup. She is asking for $248k a month in child support from Costner.
