I personally had to make Cake Pops many times before I finally got the results I wanted. I first made them purchasing a box of Cake Pop mix from the grocery store 🙁 this was a huge mistake all my pops fell apart into crumbles. It was just a big crumbled mushy mess. I do not recommend this cake pop mix.
My four-year-old Granddaughter “Kenzie” helped me make them the first time and it’s not so easy to explain to a four year old why we could no’t eat the cake we just made. We tried putting them in a bowl throwing some icing over it and eating it anyway, but even Kenzie agreed they did not taste good.
I’ve made them several times since and have the best luck with different recipes from my favorite food bloggers. Here are a couple of great how to make Cake Pops illustrations I found helpful and the recipes are delicious too.

Thank you SO much for featuring my how-to guide! Cake pops are the funnest. Until they’re not. And then they’re the worst.
Adorable! Delicious… I’ve made them before, but mine did not come out as pretty haha
Oh don’t get me wrong mine have never turned out like these photos either I’m a work in progress 🙂 But these are good recipes and tutorials for making them.
