You can’t go wrong with homemade pecan pie. This is the easiest and most delicious six-ingredient pecan pie you’ll find. It’s just in time for Thanksgiving.
This is a no-fuss pecan pie recipe and there’s no reason to make life hard just use a premade frozen pie crust.
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup light Karo syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1/4 cup melted butter
1 frozen deep dish pie crust
Heat oven to 350°F
In a medium bowl, add sugar and eggs, and mix well.
Add the vanilla, syrup, pecans, and melted butter and stir well. Pour filling into thawed pie crust.
Bake in preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until the center is set. After 20 to 30 minutes of baking, if needed, cover the crust edge with strips of foil to prevent excessive browning. Cool for about 30 minutes (I prefer to let mine cool for at least one hour before serving). Serve with a scoop of cool whip.
