Former President Donald Trump Surrenders to Manhatten Courts, Arraignment will Follow

Donald Trump surrendered to New York at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday at 1:23 pm he is set to be arraigned this afternoon at 2:15 pm. Trump is the first former president in the history of the United States to face criminal charges.

The arraignment will not be broadcast on TV after a New York judge banned video cameras from the courtroom.

He must first be arrested on the charges – with his fingerprints taken and details recorded.

However, he will not be handcuffed or put in a jail cell, and he is not expected to have his mugshot taken.

The charges are currently unconfirmed but reports suggest he will face 34 felony charges.

Trump posted on Truth Social ahead of surrendering: “Heading to Lower Manhattan, the Courthouse. Seems so SURREAL — WOW, they are going to ARREST ME. Can’t believe this is happening in America. MAGA!”

The former president also went on a rant against the district attorney Alvin Bragg.

“Wow! District Attorney Bragg just illegally LEAKED the various points, and complete information, on the pathetic Indictment against me,” Trump wrote.

“I know the reporter and so, unfortunately, does he. This means that he MUST BE IMMEDIATELY INDICTED.

“Now, if he wants to really clean up his reputation, he will do the honourable thing and, as District Attorney, INDICT HIMSELF,” he added.

“He will go down in Judicial history, and his Trump-Hating wife will be, I am sure, very proud of him!”
