Christina Applegate, who received an autoimmune illness diagnosis in 2021, has opened up about her struggles. “This is the worst thing that’s happened to me in my entire life,” Applegate stated plainly on the March 25 episode of Armchair Expert, didn’t downplay her condition.

Applegate says that the disease causes her to be in pain all the time. She revealed, “I have thirty lesions on my brain.” “My biggest one is behind my right eye, so my right eye hurts a lot.”

“It sucks,” the Dead to Me” actress continued. “I hate it so much. I’m so mad about it.”

“I got up and I literally fell into the wall and sobbed because it was a lie,” Applegate said, “Everything I was saying was a freaking lie. It was me trying to convince myself of something, and I think that did no service to anyone.”

Applegate emphasized that if she weren’t disabled, she “did not want this” and would be searching for a “cool” project following “Dead to Me”. Yet Applegate hinted that she would carry on performing in voiceover parts.
