Supermodel Chrissy Teigen is being blasted for cooking with Goya beans despite her previous public pledge to boycott the brand over the CEO’s support of President Donald Trump.
Teigen opposed the company in a string of tweets after Goya Foods CEO Robert Unanue claimed the United States is “truly blessed” by President Donald Trump’s leadership, especially in growing the economy, while at a meeting of the White House Hispanic Prosperity Initiative.
“F——CK. A shame. Don’t care how good the beans taste though. Bye bye,” she tweeted in early July.

The “Cravings” cookbook author took to Instagram and showed off her recipe for oxtail stew. Displayed on her counter filled with ingredients was Goya green pigeon peas. Several people chastised Teigen’s hypocrisy, reminding her of the many ways in which she had slammed Goya and its CEO.
“Hey @chrissyteigen what happened to boycotting Goya? Lmfao Your [sic] so lame,” one person wrote on Twitter.
