I know everyone knows how to make a cheeseburger… but this cheeseburger is hands down the best burger ever. It melts in your mouth.
Don’t lose this recipe and definitely give it a try, you won’t be sorry you did.
1 pound ground chuck, (80/20) and add 1 pound of 90/10
Bacon as much as you want!
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tablespoon garlic granulated
2 tablespoons Worcestershire
2 tablespoons Heinz 57
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
6 large burger buns, toasted if desired
White Sauce Ingredients
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sour cream
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce I use tabasco
TO MAKE SECRET SAUCE: Mix all of the ‘white sauce’ ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use.
DIRECTIONS FOR BURGERS: In a large bowl, add ground beef, seasonings, Worcestershire sauce, and Heinz 57. Using your hands or a fork, mix the ingredients together. Shape the mixture into the size and amount desired. Place patties on the grill or skillet and cook until the desired doneness. Place one piece of American cheese over the burgers during the last minute of grilling.
Buns: Add a little butter to the buns with a little granulated garlic and grill until lightly toasted.
Spread the secret sauce on each bun. Place grilled patties on the bottom bun and top with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Enjoy!
