Britney Spears celebrates a reunion with her mom Lynne after 3 years of not seeing one another in an Instagram post. “we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!!”
“My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years,” Spears wrote in an Instagram update. “Tt’s been such a long time … with family there’s always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!! And after being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!! I love 💕 you so much !!!”
The update was paired with a photo of Spears as a child, dressed as a ballerina while making a ballet pose.

TMZ broke the news of Spear’s Mom ‘Lynne’ visiting on Wednesday, May 24, sharing photos of mom stopping by the home of her daughter’s manager Cade Hudson. She then took an Uber to Spears’ home, where she reportedly stayed for around a half hour.
A source close to the Spears family also told the publication that Lynne is “committed to making it right with her daughter.”
Tension within Britney and her family have been well-known over the last few years, Spear’s spoke out against her conservatorship, which she was placed under in 2008.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny terminated the court-ordered arrangement in November 2021.
Britney has since publicly ridiculed her family on social media for their involvement.
Britney took to social media to accuse Lynne, 68, of abusing her during her 13-year conservatorship — she also claimed Lynne masterminded. Lynne has denied all allegations.
When Britney married Asghari in June 2022, neither Lynne nor Britney’s father or her two sons were in attendance.
Lynne commented on an Instagram post from Britney about her wedding day, writing, “You look radiant and so happy! Your wedding is the ‘Dream’ wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special!” She continued, “I am soooo happy for you! I love you!”
Two months after Britney’s wedding Lynne posted an old photo of her and Britney to her Instagram.
“Britney, your whole life I have tried my best to support your dreams and wishes!” Lynne wrote. “And also, I have tried my best to help you out of hardships! I have never and will never turn my back on you!”
“Your rejections to the countless times I have flown out and calls make me feel hopeless!” she continued. “I have tried everything. I love you so much, but this talk is for you and me only, eye to eye, in private.”
