Beyoncé Releases 2 New Songs from Her Upcoming Country Album

On Sunday during the Super Bowl, Beyoncé teased, revealed, and released new music.



“Okay, they ready! In the latter moments of a Verizon commercial that played during the third quarter, Beyoncé says, “Drop the new music.”

Social media, which was already ablaze with excitement from all of the Super Bowl festivities—including the halftime show, celebrity-studded bleachers, and commercials—went into overdrive.

Beyonce′ social media accounts made it official.

The song “Texas Hold ‘Em” has a lively pace, while the power ballad “16 Carriages” features her wearing a cowboy hat on the artwork.

Queen Bey is a native of Texas and did dabble in a country style with the 2016 Lemonade song “Daddy Lessons.”
