Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, co-stars from “That ’70s Show,” provided letters in support of Danny Masterson who was found guilty of sexually assaulting two women at his Hollywood Hills home 20 years ago.
Masterson, 47, was convicted in May of raping Jane Doe #1 and another woman identified at trial as Jane Doe #2.
The jury could not reach a decision on the third accuser, who was identified as Jane Doe #3 and is Masterson’s former girlfriend.
Legal affairs reporter Meghann Cuniff published the letters written by Kunis and Kutcher along with others including Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Giovanni Ribisi, and Billy Baldwin.

ABC7 reporter Lisa Bartley corroborated the existence of the letters in a tweet following Masterson’s sentencing:
#DannyMasterson update… I just picked up the letters from Masterson’s family and friends sent to Judge Olmedo ahead of today’s sentencing. Still going through them but actors @aplusk and @MilaKunisv both speak highly of their friend, now convicted rapist @dannymasterson

Niesha Trout, one of Masterson’s victims who testified in the trial, also confirmed the letters:

Rupp and Smith, who played the parents of the Eric Forman character played by Topher Grace on “That ’70s Show,” echoed the other actors’ praise for Masterson. But Smith went further and said Masterson behaved like a gentleman.
“I found that Danny treated all women on the show with respect, not only the women in the cast, but women on the crew as well,” he wrote. Continue Reading
