Trump Tweets in Favor of ‘Original’ Travel Ban, Not the ‘Watered Down Version’
President Donald Trump unleashed on Twitter Monday morning in favor of his originally proposed travel ban, calling what his administration sent to the Supreme Court a “watered down, politically correct” version of his original plan.
Kellyanne Conway’s husband shared on twitter his disapproval with President Trump’s ‘Travel Ban’ tweets. Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended the President’s tweets during Monday’s White House briefing.
Administration officials have avoided calling the travel restriction a “ban” in the past after critics claimed it was similar to a “Muslim ban.”
In January, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer told the media the travel restriction was “not a ban.”
“People, the lawyers and the courts can call it whatever they want,” Trump wrote on Monday. “But I am calling it what we need and what it is, a TRAVEL BAN!”
People, the lawyers and the courts can call it whatever they want, but I am calling it what we need and what it is, a TRAVEL BAN!

The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.

The Justice Dept. should ask for an expedited hearing of the watered down Travel Ban before the Supreme Court – & seek much tougher version!

George Conway, the husband of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway who was under consideration for multiple positions in President Donald Trump’s administration, took to twitter to voice his disagreement in Trump’s tweets on Monday for targeting his own Justice Department.
These tweets may make some ppl feel better, but they certainly won't help OSG get 5 votes in SCOTUS, which is what actually matters. Sad. https://t.co/zVhcyfm8Hr

1) Just to be clear, and in response to inquiries, I still VERY, VERY STRONGLY support POTUS, his Admin, policies, the executive order …

Sarah Huckabee Sanders insisted today that the president’s travel restrictions are about national security – and that is all –
