The family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the victim of the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl championship parade, received a $100,000 donation from Taylor Swift.
On a GoFundMe website, two $50,000 contributions were made on Friday under the singer’s identity. Variety, a trade publication, said that Swift’s representative confirmed the donations.
“Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift,” read the messages.
According to preliminary police reports, shots were fired during the conclusion of the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2024 Super Bowl parade killing Lisa.
Lisa was an avid supporter of the major sports teams in Kansas City, and on Wednesday she attended a parade with her husband and their young adult son.
Twenty-two others, including children at the parade, were injured.
