Stranger Helps Struggling Mother after Both Kids Have Epic Meltdown in Store
“I started putting things away on the shelf and was about to leave,” she candidly explained in her subsequent Facebook entry. Fortunately, however, a friendly guardian angel arrived.
This married mom was recently shopping at a Texas Target with her pair of young tykes in tow.
And then suddenly, as she described it, the two-year-old and two-month-old began having a simultaneous meltdown. You could technically call it the “terrible twos” – times two.
In this super-stressful situation, many parents experience the secret urge to sit on the floor and sob themselves. But Paterson, for her part, reacted much more responsibly.
“I started putting things away on the shelf and was about to leave,” she candidly explained in her subsequent Facebook entry. Fortunately, however, a friendly guardian angel arrived.
“Shout out to this wonderful, kind woman named Tiffany,” the grateful mom’s post proclaimed.
“She walked with me while I got the essentials needed for the day,” Paterson continued, “and kept hold of my toddler while he calmed down.”
Paterson shared her heartwarming story with a Facebook group called the “Moms of Pearland, TX.” She confessed to this supportive circle that she’d been “sleep deprived” and “running on empty” when Tiffany appeared out of nowhere and quietly offered to assist.
We need more of this!
Some Facebook users have asked about Tiffany’s identify, while others actually claim to know her. But when a woman named Ashley Nash shared Paterson’s original post, she seemed to comprehend the crucial kernel of truth immediately.
“This is what we should do,” stated Nash simply. “This makes my heart smile.”
