Starbucks Employees Relentless Heckling Of Trump Supporter Wearing Trump Shirt
On Wednesday, Kayla Hart went to Starbucks in Dilworth, NC and ordered a venti green iced tea.
Hart happened to be wearing a Trump shirt that day, and as you know, that’s practically the same as like, assaulting someone. She was totally visually assaulting the Starbucks baristas. So instead of writing her Actual Name on the cup, they wrote “Build a wall.” (That’s the best they could come up with? Really?)
Oh, and they shouted “build a wall!” and laughed at her. Because that’s what adults do.
“They shouted out, ‘Build a wall!’ and shoved a drink at me and then all the baristas in the back started cracking up laughing,” she told Fox 46. “I just walked out because everyone was staring.”
Hart emailed Starbucks customer service. The company released the following statement:
“We failed to meet this customer’s expectations of us, and we have apologized and are working directly with her to make it right. This experience is not consistent with our standards or the welcoming and respectful experience we aim to provide every customer who visit our stores. We have spoken with our store partners about this situation and are using this as a coaching opportunity for the future,” Starbucks said in a statement.
I’m glad Starbucks apologized, but those employees should be fired. And Starbucks should totally give Hart a bunch of free coffee. Just sayin’.
But there you have it. Yet another example of #TheResistance treating Trump supporters like crap. It’s practically a daily occurrence.
