Dad Who Died Of Cancer Preordered Flowers For His Daughter’s Birthdays Before He Died

Bailey Sellers was excited to finally turn 21, but the celebration also came some sadness

Bailey’s dad passed away when she was 16 years old. But before he died, he prepaid for five years’ worth of birthday flower bouquets for his daughter. This meant that her 21st birthday would be the last time she received flowers from her dad.

Bailey shared this emotional and personal moment online on her Twitter page on November 24, 2017. In the post, she shared photos of the flowers, a note, and an older photo of she and her dad.

Bailey shared the beautiful arrangement of flowers.

Her dad also wrote her a note before he died.

“This is my last love letter to you until we meet again,” he wrote. “I will still be with you through every milestone, just look around and there I will be.”

Bailey Sellers is now a junior at East Tennessee State University, where she’s studying psychology.

After her father died, she had her right wrist tattooed with one of the notes he’d written her, inked on her skin to resemble his handwriting.

“I will be watching over you from Heaven.”
