The Senate Rules and Administration Committee released a report detailing how much taxpayer money was used to settle sexual harassment claims against senators.

According to this: Findings published Monday night reveal $1.5 million has been spent on harassment settlements over the course of almost 20 years.

However, not all the settlements listed in the report are in relation to sexual misconduct.

More than $420,000 of taxpayer money was used to settle racial discrimination claims against senators.

This comes after the House released its findings earlier this month showing more than $340,000 was used in similar settlements from 2008 to 2012.
