Sarah Jessica Parker, everyone knows Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex and the City.” Sarah is a 56-year-old American actress, and she’s embracing her natural beauty. I did a double-take on her photo when it came across.
I thought oh my gosh, she looks just like me, 54, and I don’t look airbrushed. Well, I love it and she’s beautiful.
Parker is never afraid to show off her natural beauty. During the filming of the sequel series And Just Like That, she was spotted sporting her gray locks. She posts photos with no make-up. –Bored Daddy
“I’ve never thought a lot about [my attitude to beauty], to be honest,” she told Vogue. “It’s never been that I’m without vanity – because that would be total malarkey – but I sort of think that time moves along, you buy the things you like, you learn how to put your makeup on the way you feel comfortable, and that feels most like yourself.”

Paulina Porizkova had this to say about the no-makeup photo and I concur 1000%.
I’ve been seeing photos of Sarah Jessica Parker in the media, and every time I think “oh thank you thank you!”
Someone who is my age who looks like me. I see my lines and droops and silver roots mirrored, and I love it.
Representation!
She makes me feel like I’m not a freak for aging – because fashionable, beautiful, stylish her – is doing it too. And she looks amazing.
Once again, this is not to in anyway slight those who chose different options. You should do exactly what makes you feel best about yourself. That little whiff of confidence a tweak may give you can translate into a ton of opportunity. Carpe diem!
My point is only that aging women have been nearly erased from the media, leaving those of us who want to, or try or would at least try to embrace it – without much representation.

At the age of 14, in 1979, Parker starred as the Orphan in Anne, which marked her Broadway breakthrough. It was in 1982 that Parker turned to television when she landed a role in Square Pegs. Among the rest, she played in Honeymoon in Vegas alongside Nicolas Cage and Ed Wood.
“I want to be clear about what I’m about to say. Relative to the rest of the world, I’m extremely well paid. But I know that almost everybody who works in network television works much less than I do and makes much more,” Sarah Jessica Parker told Oprah in 2004. “I own the show, so when it’s sold, there’s something in there for me. But I’ll never think I have money because I spent so many years without.”
“I’ve been financially responsible for so many people for such a long time—my family—that it’s not enough to have money for myself. And it’s not about luxury. It’s about my mom’s house payments. And my father is about to be laid off on Monday,” she added.
