Samantha Bee Loses Sponsor After Spewing Vulgar ‘Feckless C–t’ Comment About Ivanka Trump

“Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” loses sponsor after the host called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c—” on the show Wednesday night.

“Let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices you feckless c—t!” Bee said on Wednesday in her opening monologue.

“The collective silence by the left and its media allies is appalling,” Sanders told TheWrap on Thursday. “Her disgusting comments and show are not fit for broadcast, and executives at Time Warner and TBS must demonstrate that such explicit profanity about female members of this administration will not be condoned on its network.”

Bee later apologized on Thursday, saying that using the c-word was “inappropriate and inexcusable.”

“I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night,” she said in a statement. “It was inappropriate and inexcusable. I crossed a line, and I deeply regret it.”

TBS echoed Bee’s statement with an apology: “Samantha Bee has taken the right action in apologizing for the vile and inappropriate language she used about Ivanka Trump last night. Those words should not have been aired. It was our mistake too, and we regret it.”

Autotrader has decided to suspend its sponsorship of “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” after the host called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c—” on the show Wednesday night.

First lady Melania Trump’s office responded to TBS comedian Samantha Bee’s profane tirade against presidential adviser Ivanka Trump by saying it was an example of an “astounding” double standard.

“The double standard is truly astounding,” Grisham told TheDC. “Time and again the Trump family and members of this Administration are subjected to false reporting, hateful rhetoric and outrageous lies all in the name of freedom of speech or comedy, yet the mainstream media stays silent.”

Samantha Bee’s use of the vulgar C word aimed at Ivanka has been trending on Twitter all day, fueled in part by comparisons to the Roseanne situation.
