President Trump Considering Martha Stewart Pardon After Dinesh D’Souza

Trump offered a pardon to far-right film-maker and spoke of pardoning Stewart and commuting Rod Blagojevich’s sentence.

D’Souza, 57, was found guilty of an illegal $20,000 campaign contribution to a New York politician.

The President tweeted on Thursday that D’Souza “was treated very unfairly by our government”.

He was sentenced to five years of probation after admitting the crime.

D’Souza has also criticized feminism, same-sex marriage and spent a large part of his career targeting Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Trump also said he might pardon lifestyle guru Martha Stewart and commute former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich’s sentence.
