Take a look at the first trailer for the upcoming Netflix documentary about the life and career of Pamela Anderson ‘Pamela, a love story’.
Pamela Anderson is taking her power back and telling her story — this time, in her own words.
The Baywatch actress addresses her infamous sex-tape scandal with ex-husband Tommy Lee in the ’90s.

Set to a slowed-down, haunting version of the Cardigans’ 1996 hit “Lovefool,” the 2-minute trailer opens with Anderson, now 55, addressing the controversy over her leaked sex tape with ex-husband Tommy Lee and saying of her image, “I wanna take control of the narrative for the first time.”
“I had to make a career out of the pieces left, but I’m not the damsel in distress,” the actress and model says later, adding with a laugh, “I put myself in crazy situations … and survived them.”
“I blocked that stolen tape out of my life in order to survive, and now that it’s all coming up again, I feel sick,” Anderson says in the clip, released Tuesday.
The sex tape scandal was back in the spotlight recently via the Hulu series Pam & Tommy, in which she was portrayed by Lily James. It tells the story of her whirlwind romance with Lee, and the chaos that unfolded in their lives in the 1990s when their unauthorized sex tape was made public.
“I want to take control of the narrative for the first time,” she says in the documentary.
“I put myself in crazy situations and I survived them.”
The trailer concludes with her asking “Why can’t we be the heroes of our own life story?” and then she quips, “Why don’t I do all the interviews naked? There’s no mystery here.”
