Miss USA 2021 Elle Smith crowned R’Bonney Gabriel onstage at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada, on Monday night.

2022 is the first year Texas is being represented by Asian American women in both the Miss USA and Miss America pageants, ABC News reported.

Gabriel graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in fashion design. She now works as a model and a designer creating eco-friendly clothing.
Her hobbies include vintage thrift shopping, doing yoga, sketching, and hula hooping.
She will now represent the United States at the Miss Universe pageant on January 14, 2023, in New Orleans.
