Melania Trump Wears ‘I DONT CARE’ Jacket To Visit Migrant Kids In Texas

Okay, so the choice in Melania’s jacket is totally baffling.

Melania Trump made a surprise visit to the US-Mexico border today. She visited an immigration detention center in Texas and asked what she could do to help kids reunite with their parents.

Her trip was a success and very informative. Unfortunately her trip to Texas is NOT what we’re talking about.

Yes, we’re going to talk about her jacket, because everyone’s obsessing over it.

(US Weekly) The first lady, 48, was spotted wearing a jacket with the words “I Really Don’t Care, Do U?” scrawled across the back as she arrived at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland to board a flight to McAllen, Texas. The $39 olive-colored Zara jacket has since sold out on the retailer’s website.

By the time the airplane touched down in the Lone Star State, Trump had changed into a cream-colored jacket, which she wore over the same white skinny jeans and sneakers she had on earlier in the day.

Many Twitter users were outraged by the fashion choice. “This is not a joke … I am actually speechless,” former senior Democratic National Committee adviser Zac Petkanas wrote. MSNBC host Chris Hayes tweeted, “Wait, wait, wait. I just got wifi to work on my flight. This Melania jacket thing cannot be real. Can’t. I’m choosing not to believe it.”

In response to the backlash, Trump’s press secretary Stephanie Grisham tells Us Weekly, “It’s a jacket. There was no hidden message.”

President Trump chimed in with this:

Regardless of why she wore the ‘I really don’t care’ jacket it was a very POOR choice. I don’t care if you do or don’t support her it was a poor choice. And plenty of people had a lot to say about it.

I’m so baffled by this. It was such an awesome and informative trip to visit the migrant children in detention. Just to be overshadowed by her wardrobe is such a shame. She and/or her advisors certainly should have known this was a bad choice.

Would I wear it on the way to the border? No. Not even to troll. So, IDK what she was thinking.

Was she trolling the media? Or Did she just not think this all the way through? Or Was she really trying to send a message? I really just don’t know.
