Mad at the long wait angry customer opens fire at Memphis Burger King 1

Police say a customer at an east Memphis Burger King opened fire after getting angry over the drive-thru wait time.

Memphis police said the woman was in the drive-thru line when she got out of the passenger seat of a vehicle, walked up to the window, and started arguing with employees, WHBQ reported.

In a statement obtained by FOX13, Burker King said that they do not condone violence of any kind and are fully cooperating with police in this investigation.

“We do not tolerate or condone violence of any kind at our restaurants because the safety of our team members and guests is our top priority. Fortunately, no one in the restaurant was injured during this incident. The restaurant operator is fully cooperating with authorities on their ongoing investigation.”
