I honestly think I gain 5lbs when searching for the best recipes. Maybe not, I did hear today a study performed by BYU found that looking at food actually makes you less likely to enjoy meals. <Article on BYU Study> I guess this means I shouldn’t enjoy my meals because I look at a ton of recipes everyday sometimes maybe hundreds of recipes. While they may have found this in their study it doesn’t work for me because I always enjoy my food and I certainly haven’t shed any pounds.

Oh well on to this fabulous mac & cheese topped with bacon and YES it is wonderful. I made this for dinner Sunday, but I combined the two recipes below to make one dish and it was a huge hit. We had another couple over for dinner and we all went back for seconds. I made a ton of it and there was nothing left not even a dribble for one more lick. Macaroni & Cheese Topped W/Bacon

  • Bacon cooked (as many as you want)
  • 1 package Kraft Easy Mac (microwaveable)
  • slices of scallion

Plain Baked Mac & Cheese

  • 4 tbps of butter
  • 4 tbsp of flour
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 onion (finely minced)
  • nutmeg
  • 3 1/4 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • salt
  • pepper
  • seasoning
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
