Slow Roasted Garlic & Herb Chicken

 

  • 1 whole chicken
  • Lawry’s Garlic Spread
  • Weber Roasted Garlic & Herb (or any brand roasted garlic)
  • Salt & Pepper

Preheat oven to 300

Place chicken in a baking dish sprayed with a non-stick spray (I line my baking dish with foil)

Place the Lawry’s Garlic Spread in the microwave for just a few seconds (you don’t want it melted just softened) with a spoon or knife generously rub chicken with the garlic spread. I like a thick pasted all over the chicken a couple of spoon fulls.

Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle a generous amount of the Weber Roasted Garlic & Herb.

Cover completely and tightly with foil. Bake slow on 300 for about 3 to 4 hours (depending on size of chicken) make sure the chicken is done. The last 30 minutes uncover and turn heat up to 350.
