Over the weekend, an unedited bikini picture of Khloe Kardashian surfaced on the internet after a member of her family or team. It’s not clear how this happened. In the aftermath, reports said that the media personality’s representatives had been insisting Instagram accounts hosting the photo take it down. Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram were all alerted about the image amid claims it may be a copyright infringement.
The bikini photo in question shows the 36-year-old in a leopard print bikini in front of a swimming pool, and was allegedly shared by her maternal grandmother, Mary Jo ‘MJ’ Shannon.

Page Six confirmed that the photo, which does feature some edits, is authentic and was taken over the weekend while Khloé was in the middle of a conversation. (Page Six reposted the photo on their site.)
Tracy Romulus, the Chief Marketing Officer for KKW Brands, stressed that Khloé’s disapproval of the recent bikini photo had nothing to do with her appearance. “The color edited photo was taken of Khloé during a private family gathering and posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant,” Tracy told
in a Monday, April 5, statement. “Khloé looks beautiful, but it is within the right of the copyright owner to not want an image not intended to be published taken down.”
