The couple has thrown in the towel or ‘tennis racquets.’

The couple married in 2010 and share three children, Olive, 16, Elula, 13, and Montgomery.

In the early 2000s, the two had initially connected at a party in Sydney, Australia. In 2020, the actor subsequently talked about how he initially felt about her in an interview with the New York Times.

“She was hilarious. We were at a very pretentious party, and me and her bonded over taking the mick out of the other people in the party,” he said. “I knew instantly. I don’t know if she did.”

They said in statements shared on their Instagram Stories on April 5:

“After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage,” “We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change,” they added. “We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”

The announcement coincides with Cohen’s spat with 44-year-old Rebel Wilson, who referred to him as a “massive a–hole” after they worked together.

In a dedicated chapter of “Rebel Rising,” Rebel accuses Cohen of dehumanizing her, asking her to commit an indecent act on him while working on ‘Grimsby.’

She claims that Cohen attempted to “threaten” her before the publication of her book.

In a statement, Baron Cohen addressed the charges, stating that they are,

“demonstrably false” and can be “directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts.”
