Huma Abedin Has Invited Anthony Weiner Back Home
Huma Abedin filed for divorce this month, on the same day disgraced ex-congressman Anthony Weiner pleaded guilty to sexting with a 15-year-old girl, and it seemed she had finally come to grips with who her husband really is.
But now it appears the move to file for divorce was just another savvy political move on the couple’s part, since one, Huma hasn’t yet served him with divorce papers, and two, he is moving back home to their apartment, reports The New York Post.
Huma just “renewed the lease on their pricey Union Square duplex,” a luxury three-bedroom, 1,500-square-foot pad in New York. Anthony was supposed to hit the bricks Tuesday, but they just signed the lease on the pricey pad for another year. Before the invite to come home, Anthony had been crashing on his mother’s couch in Park Slope, Brooklyn. How far the mighty have fallen.
The serial texter, who as part of a plea deal will have to register as a sex offender and will be sentenced on September 8, was spotted this week leaving the building with the couple’s 5-year-old son, who he once lay next to in bed as he texted a crotch shot to a woman.
Some speculate this is more about Weiner’s relationship with his son and not Abedin. After all, Weiner’s been his primary caregiver.
That’s nice and all, but we’re talking about a guy who pretty much took a d*ck pic with his son present. That’s wildly inappropriate. I know Weiner is the boy’s father, but he has issues he needs to take care of.And Huma? She needs therapy. Or an intervention. Or something. Clearly. It’s one thing to try to save your marriage, it’s another thing to shack up with a sexual offender.
