Creamy Mushroom Smothered Meatballs


Hamburger meat (I use lean ground sirloin)
1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs (or crushed crackers)
1 yellow onion diced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic (I use granulated garlic)
1 to 2 tablespoons chives
Desired amount of salt & pepper
2 eggs
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 can beefy mushroom soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 to 1 cup of milk (amount depends on desired thickness) 
Preheat oven to 350
Mix hamburger meat and all seasonings with egg and crackers or bread crumbs. Bake on 350 in oven for about 45 minutes to 1 hour until meatballs are done.
In a skillet mix soups and sour cream until mixed well. Stir in milk and mix well. Add meatballs and allow to simmer on medium low for about 30 minutes.
Serve over rice or egg noodles.
NOTE: This gravy is delicious and works well with any beef dish…Hamburger patties, Roasts, Beef Tips, etc.
