CNN Officially Cancels Reza Aslan’s Show Over Tweet About President Trump
After the London terrorist attacks, the CNN host who isn’t technically a network employee, Reza Aslan, referred to President Trump as a “piece of sh*t.” I don’t even know why it came as a shock. I tweet read, “This piece of sh*t is not just an embarrassment to America and a stain on the presidency. He’s an embarrassment to humankind.”
After deleting the tweet, he issued an apology.
I should not have used a profanity to describe the President when responding to his shocking reaction to the #LondonAttacks. My statement: pic.twitter.com/pW69jjpoZy

In addition, CNN released a statement.
CNN statement: (1/2): Reza Aslan is not a CNN employee, but does host a series on the network. We are pleased that he has apologized…

End of story, right? WRONG. CNN actually caved and decided to cancel his show altogether.

The most unexpected person came to Aslan’s defense: Sean Hannity.
This isn’t the first time Aslan has used foul, disgusting language to tear up his ideological opponents.
