Beloved 'Full House' Dad Bob Saget and 'America's Funniest Home Videos' host dies at age 65

Actor and comedian Bob Saget dead at age 65, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Sunday, Jan 9.

The Orange County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. “The man was identified as Robert Saget and pronounced deceased on scene,” the Sheriff’s Office said.

TMZ broke the news and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida subsequently confirmed the death.

On Saturday night, he did a show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Jacksonville, Florida, and early Sunday morning tweeted a photo of himself and wrote: “Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this s—. Check http://BobSaget.com for my dates in 2022.”

“He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter,” Saget’s family said in a statement.
