Oven Baked Chili Cheese Dogs
I came across this recipe online several months ago and shared it who knew it would be such a big hit, but it was. My Mom was making these 30 years ago. It is one of my favorite childhood memories my Mom baking chili cheese dogs for all the girls at our slumber parties. The baked chili cheese dogs were always the hit of the slumber party.
This recipe is from Vivid Moments. Feel free to make the chili cheese dogs with whatever you prefer on them. I load them up with a little mayo, mustard, beef hot dogs, Wolf Brand Chili, onion and sharp cheddar cheese. Bake them for about 30 minutes on 350 or under the broiler for about 10 minutes. I like my buns a little crispy. Serve warm and serve with a fork.
Oven Hot Dogs
8 hot dogs
8 hot dog buns
1 can of chili
1/2 an onion, diced
cheddar cheese
mayonnaise
mustard
sweet relish
