The former couple has been engaged in a custody battle of their six children since 2016. Angelina Jolie is willing to show proof of Brad Pitt’s alleged domestic violence in their ongoing divorce case, according to a new court filing.
Since announcing their separation in 2016, Jolie and Pitt have been embroiled in divorce proceedings concerning custody and property disagreements.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Jolie has filed numerous documents stating that she is prepared to give “proof and authority in support” of Pitt’s alleged domestic abuse during their marriage.
Sources familiar with the case have said: ‘When they were first divorced in the fall of 2016… she made similar allegations which were reported to the authorities and thoroughly investigated before no action was taken.’
In September of 2016, Brad was investigated for physically abusing Maddox on a private plane.
The story went that Maddox was hurt by his father while getting in the middle of a heated row the actor was having with Angelina over his boozing.
But the inquiry by the FBI and social services decided that Brad had not struck his son or been violent with family members in the past.
