Rapper A$AP Rocky, Rihanna’s partner, his real name is Rakim Mayers, was charged with two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm for an incident in Hollywood that occurred in November 2021.
“Discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offense that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood,” District Attorney George Gascón said in a statement.
He faces serious charges and lengthy jail time, Rocky has been spotted out with Rihanna recently. It has been reported that Rihanna had given birth to a son in May, the couple’s first child together.
